Schedule:  Starts at 7 am until done.  OT is available Monday-Friday

Position Overview:

As a Slip Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a slip forklift to move and stack materials in our warehouse or distribution center. You will also be responsible for maintaining the forklift and ensuring it is in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a slip forklift to move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and trucks

- Stack and arrange materials in an organized manner to maximize storage space

- Load and unload trucks and containers using the forklift

- Inspect and maintain the forklift, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and general maintenance

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

- Keep track of inventory and report any discrepancies to the supervisor

- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as picking and packing orders, and general cleaning and maintenance

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 year of experience operating a slip forklift

- Valid forklift certification

- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and guidelines

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions

- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus
