About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate with experience in tools to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Store Manager, your duties and responsibilities include: · Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding the tools and equipment they need. · Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their project requirements. · Answer customer inquiries regarding product features, pricing, and availability. · Offer guidance and advice on tool usage and maintenance. · Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and suggest appropriate products. · Utilize sales techniques to promote add-on items and upsell products to maximize sales opportunities. · Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS (Point of Sale) system. · Assist in maintaining adequate stock levels on the sales floor by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.

Skills and Experience Required 
Previous retail sales experience preferred, ideally in a hardware or tool shop environment. · Strong knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in construction, woodworking, automotive, or DIY projects. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. · Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system. · Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
