Job Title: Remedial Technician Company: LLS AUS GROUP Contract Details: Temporary LLS AUS GROUP is a leading provider of remedial services for commercial and residential properties. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Remedial Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Remedial Technician, you will be responsible for identifying and repairing structural and cosmetic issues in buildings. This includes but is not limited to concrete repairs, waterproofing, and facade maintenance. You will work closely with our team of engineers and project managers to ensure that all remedial work is completed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct site inspections to assess the extent of damage and determine appropriate remedial solutions - Perform repairs and maintenance on various building components, including concrete, facades, and waterproofing systems - Use a variety of tools and equipment to complete repairs, including drills, saws, and scaffolding - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment - Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors to coordinate work schedules and provide progress updates - Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used - Adhere to project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects - Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality of work Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the remedial construction industry - Trade qualification in a relevant field such as carpentry, building, or construction - Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Physically fit and able to work at heights and in various weather conditions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Must be able to pass a background check and drug test This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.
