Director, Head of Global Total Reward, HR

(This position can be located in Shanghai or Shenzhen)


This position will play a strategic role in developing and implementing total rewards strategy across Goodix global. The role is responsible for the design, implementation, communication, governance and management of all global rewards (compensation & benefits) programs and policies/procedures to align our total rewards strategy to business priorities and people strategy. He/she is also expected to provide oversight and direction to individual country HR for all rewards related initiatives, ensuring that company compensation and benefit programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and local government regulations.

 

Major Responsibilities

·       Provide strategic and operational leadership in the design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of our Total Rewards programs including salary structure adjustments, merit and incentive pay, equity programs, health, welfare, wellness ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines as well as the alignment with corporate headquarter directions

·       Analyze the market competitiveness and cost effectiveness of our rewards programs and plans to ensure they align with our business strategy and optimize our ability to attract talents. E.g. Overseeing the participation in salary surveys; analyzing salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation programs are competitive and cost effective; Evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommending solutions that are cost-effective and aligned with the organizations objectives

·       Provide guidance to leaders on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations

·       Designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans

Develop benefits program according to Total Reward strategy and the context in different country, responsible for the implementation.

·       Participate in the budgeting and recommend budgeting to the global people expense from human resource perspective, monitoring the expense performance and providing related reports against this plan throughout the year

·       Oversee the management of global job grading framework and its associated governance processes.

·       Ensures compliance with local compensation laws and regulations. Drive the standardization of total rewards and manage the global rewards governance to ensure equity and compliance across the global market

·       Design materials for compensation and benefits orientations and provide training and support to local HR.

·       Work with Finance team on avoidance of IIT and support the implementation


Minimum Qualifications

·       A minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience managing global HR programs as well as at least 5 years of progressive experience in global Total Rewards, and/or Compensation & Benefits function for a reputable multinational/global company

·       Experience of managing Total Rewards compliance issues, policy development, and implementation of new compliance policies to meet local, state, national, and regional governing laws. Knowledge of related laws and regulations.

·       Experience and knowledge of compensation and benefits practice in global market like China, India, Korea, Japan, USA, Netherlands, France, Germany, Egypt, and etc.

·       A demonstrated record of success project management in varied working environments, with direct experience in the creation, development and execution of salary/total compensation structures, incentives and variable pay plan development

·       Strong data analytical skills and proficiency in excel skills.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of an organization. Very detail oriented.

·       Highly motivated, self-directed, and results driven. Demonstrated ability to perform consistently within a fast-paced environment, driving multiple and competing priorities, with a pro-active, high-energy approach

·       Bachelor degree or above. Advanced degree and compensation & benefits related professional certification is an advantage

·       Prefer knowledge of SAP systems

·       Good command of Chinese and English, written & speaking
