As Key Account Manager you will join a dynamic team with a lot of opportunities. You will report directly to the General Manager China being part of the central sales team and functionally to the Global Key Account Director. 

Stakeholders include the Global Key Account Team, Distributors and the Service Team.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • - Manage and maintain the Global/Regional Key Account Relationships in the region

  • - Lead and drive new Global/Regional Key Accounts in the region

  • - Key contact for some of our biggest and strategic customers

  • - Lead and/or support national Key Accounts in the markets including working with the Area Managers and Distributors when and where necessary

  • - Driving tailor-made solutions for large clients, in term of product customization and sales offer, strictly cooperating with functions ( Global Product Marketing/Service/ Academy..)

  • - Growing and managing the customer pipeline according to the Key Account sales process. This means scoping the environment and hunting for new accounts and segments beyond coffee chains and QSRs and creating opportunities with hotel groups, corporate caterers, airport operators as an example

  • - Ensure Key Account customer expectations are aligned at HQ level to support Key Account customers growth

  • - Prepare and deliver proposals and offers when required

  • - Maintain detailed records and reports as required

The candidate is someone who has:

  • - A proven track record in a leading company, the F&B equipment industry is preferred, in a regional role

  • - A proven track record managing, winning, developing, maintaining and supporting global and regional Key Accounts

  • - A proven track record working in the Key Account end customer environment

  • - Existing networks with Key Accounts regional HQs

  • - An understanding of the Key Account complex sales process and Buying Centre concept

  • - Strong time and self management and especially to meet deadlines, able to plan internationally and implement locally

  • - High EQ and cross cultural communication skills

  • - Leadership skills

  • - Strong communication and negotation skills

  • - Relationship builder with the ability to identify the right contact persons (Buyers, Sales, Marketing) and involve them in the development and of your Plans.
