Our client is an independent and fast-growing logistics firm based in Europe with offices Europe and Hong Kong SAR China. They have recently established their office in Shenzhen and this position will be their 1st hire in Shenzhen.

This Sales Manager (Air&Sea) is not only responsible for the identification, acquisition, development and retention of a customer base within Airfreight & Seafreight but also the growth of team contribution by leading a few Business Development Managers. This position reports to General Manager who is based in Hong Kong.

The Ideal Person:

Strong sales experience with proven track record, and better an experience of team management.
Confidence in both individual & team contribution that can be generated.
Motivated by money!
An individual with integrity and industry knowledge.
Enjoys working in a fast paced, varied and high pressure role.
Will have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.

In this role, you will:

Meet monthly individual GP target set by the management.
Meet monthly department GP target set by the management.
Build and retain a customer base.
Plan your personal sales activity, and help team members/subordinates plan the same if needed.
Plan your key accounts.
Make joint sales call with your subordinate to a customer if needed.
Monitor daily work from subordinates/Sales Executive.
Book appointments through self-generation.
Be required to understand/explain products and services and resolve queries and objections.
Be fully accountable for the growth of GP (gross profit) across these modes and in line with a structured sales scheme.
Report into the General Manager and generate weekly and monthly progress reports, when required.
Be involved with market campaigns and related literature.
