Role Description:
Reporting to the Global Aftersales Engineering, Training and Field quality Director, you will be in charge of Managing the technical aftersales engineering team with 3 core activities: Diagnosis, Accessory development and Service documentation& tools.
Management tasks:
• Establish the Global AFS technical engineering organization, ensuring coordination with local markets
• Determine VinFast global team scope, Role & Responsibilities versus ESP’s
• Participate to the recruitment of the best possible, diversified team
• Proper reporting to Top management (“speak with data” mindset)
• Development plan of the team (training, coaching, forum & communication ..)
• HR compliance (rules, appraisal, VF brand awareness, ..)
• Budget establishment and control over the year
Production & Deliverable related tasks:
• Set up and share overall Aftersales Master plan schedule for new vehicle projects and Lifetime
• Project managing deliverables pertaining to Aftersales diagnostics, Service documentation and tools, accessory development, including stakeholder identification, requirements/specifications creation, timing plan development/tracking, reporting and issue escalation.
• Participate in regular cross functional team forums reporting out on deliverable status and escalate any roadblocks as required.
• Build then Implement clear RACI for all the deliverables within Vin Fast groups and with concerned ESP’s
• Build KPI’s and Metrics to deliver simple yet clear message about production status
• Benchmark aftersales tools and procedures compared with competitors and industry trends
• Innovate especially on Connectivity and Accessories to support VF brand awareness
• Define short and Mid term strategy for your organization and production
• Define carry over and capitalization process to optimize cost and quality
• Participate to quality process and field support
What we are looking for:
• Minimum 10 year experience in the automotive industry, preferably with electric vehicles.
• Previous experience within Aftersales engineering or product development engineering
• A good sound understanding of how vehicles are engineered, developed and overall vehicle systems knowledge.
• Capacity to work across a global organization with multiple cultures and functions.
• Experience in program management, business development.
• Well-developed customer and business acumen.
• Entrepreneurial & innovation mindset; agile, fast, problem solver, building from the ground.
• Positive attitude, team player, collaborator with strong sense of relationship.
• Excellent communication skills. Capable to make complexity simple.
