Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal and External Liaison Manager for our operations in Vietnam. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with local regulations, managing external relationships with authorities, and handling legal-related processes for business operations. This role will also act as a bridge between the Company and various government agencies to facilitate smooth operations and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Tenant Registration, Permit and Licensing Coordination:

  • Oversee and facilitate the registration of tenants with relevant local authorities to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Facilitate the application, renewal, and maintenance of business licenses, permits, and other government approvals.
  • Address and resolve issues related to regulatory filings and documentation.

Liaison with Authorities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with legal, police, and fire department representatives.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with local ward and district police across Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Act as the primary contact for external regulatory bodies and ensure smooth communication.

Legal Documentation and Compliance Management:

  • Handle all communication and documentation related to legal matters.
  • Prepare, review, and manage legal paperwork in alignment with local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that all Company activities comply with Vietnamese laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the Companies policies and procedures are aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Business Location Registration and Regulatory Monitoring and Advisory:
  • Coordinate and ensure timely registration of business locations with the appropriate authorities.
  • Monitor updates and changes in local regulations affecting business operations.

Building and Fire Safety Compliance:

  • Handle all fire safety requirements, including document preparation and submission.
  • Ensure timely submission of PCCC (Fire Safety Compliance) documents to the relevant authorities.

Crisis Management:

  • Act as the key liaison during compliance audits, inspections, or investigations by government authorities
  • Mitigate risks by preemptively identifying potential compliance issues and addressing them with the relevant agencies.

Legal and Regulatory Updates:

  • Stay informed about changes in laws, circulars, and regulations that may impact the business and Companys operations.
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to the management team to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams on compliance requirements and government protocols.
  • Liaise with legal advisors.
