Your Mission
As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to achieve sales and revenue targets. You will conduct market research, refine product positioning against competitors, and maintain an up-to-date CRM database.

A key part of your role involves presenting comprehensive solutions to clients, such as cost reduction strategies, sustainability practices, and energy efficiency measures. Your ability to deliver engaging presentations via Microsoft Teams will be instrumental in building rapport and trust with stakeholders. Additionally, staying informed on regulatory changes and government initiatives in the energy sector will ensure your offerings remain relevant and impactful.

Key Competencies

  • Proven experience in managing a multi-layered sales pipeline and converting opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the energy or SaaS sectors, with a track record of engaging with C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver compelling insights on energy consumption and software solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for effective client data management.
  • Strategic mindset, capable of conducting competitor analysis and identifying market opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Teams, for professional presentations.

Offer Details

  • Salary: Up to £35,000, plus a lucrative commission structure.
  • Location: Sunderland.
  • Work Arrangement: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am 5:00 pm.
