Senior Accountant

A small to mid-sized, and rapidly growing, company based in the Toledo, Ohio area is seeking a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting

- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations

- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Provide financial guidance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis

- Collaborate with other departments

- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial processes and increase efficiency

- Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- CPA designation preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

- Experience with Sage is a plus
