About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee and manage the daily operations of commercial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA/HIOSH regulations.
  • Prepare and submit daily field reports and timesheets using an online application.
  • Attend and participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, fostering clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with inspectors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Document and complete all punch list items in a timely manner.
  • Manage project budgets and allocate manpower efficiently.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Develop and update project schedules, including issuing 3-week lookahead schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent in commercial construction, with a proven track record managing ground-up and tenant improvement projects valued at $10M+.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience reviewing RFIs and submittals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to maintain as-builts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material suppliers, and field crews.
  • Proficiency in critical path scheduling (MS Project preferred) and updating 3-week lookahead schedules.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and addressing safety concerns.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and HIOSH regulations.
  • Ability to track and manage labor costs efficiently.
  • Experience conducting pre-installation meetings with subcontractors.
  • Proficiency with construction software (MS Project, MS Office, Bluebeam).
