IT Manager

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to lead the technology operations for a well-established civil engineering company in Honolulu. The IT Manager will ensure the company's systems, infrastructure, and data remain secure, efficient, and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware.
• Manage and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring optimal performance and user support.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols, including threat monitoring, risk assessment, and incident response.
• Ensure reliable IT networking, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Perform regular IT maintenance, including system updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with leadership to assess technology needs and recommend system improvements.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers, and software licenses.
• Provide end-user support and training for staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT management experience, preferably within the construction, engineering, or related industries.
• Proficiency with CMMS software and IT maintenance best practices.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with IT networking, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
