Senior Accountant

Our client, a growing company based in Honolulu, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• 710+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is required.
• Experience in the local market and familiarity with Hawaiis unique business environment.
