HSE Digital & AI Transformation Lead

One of our International Oilfield Services client is seeking an experienced HSE Digital & AI Transformation Lead to drive the digital transformation and AI strategy across the QHSE function. 

Location: Cairo, Egypt and/or Dammam, Saudi.

Position Overview: This role will serve as the focal point for QHSE digital innovation, leading the design and delivery of scalable digital and AI-enabled solutions. And to drive the adoption of emerging technologies and ensure successful end-to-end implementation of applications and platforms, delivering measurable business value through automation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline. Advanced qualifications and relevant certifications in QHSE, project management, digital technologies and AI technologies are preferred.
• 12–15+ years of professional experience, including significant experience in QHSE leadership roles within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives, technology adoption, and business process improvement programs.
• Strong knowledge of QHSE management systems, regulatory compliance, risk management, incident investigation, and audit programs.
• Experience with QHSE digital platforms, data analytics, AI applications and technologies, reporting tools, and enterprise systems integration.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end digital solution delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, development oversight, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and go-live management for enterprise or QHSE applications.
• Strong technical knowledge of enterprise and cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, application hosting architectures, APIs and system integrations, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), data and analytics tools, AI/ML technologies, and leading QHSE systems
• Strong understanding of data fundamentals including data pipelines, system integration (SAP, QHSE tools, IoT systems), structured and unstructured data, data quality and governance, with the ability to work effectively with datasets and dashboards.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting and platforms, sustainability initiatives, and environmental performance management.
• Familiarity with IoT and sensor-based safety monitoring systems
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills with the ability to work across IT, Operations, and QHSE teams.
• Experience managing technology vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional projects.
