We are partnering with a global leader in engineered solutions to hire an experienced and driven Sales Manager UK (Hybrid - London Office). This is a key field-based role focused on developing business across South England. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient and commercially sharp, with a proven track record in project-based B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical B2B sales efforts across the UK, focusing on South England
  • Develop and manage client accounts, from prospecting through to delivery
  • Conduct technical presentations and support bids and proposals
  • Identify opportunities in EPC and project-driven environments
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and relevant industry events
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, inside sales, delivery)

Experience & Industry Knowledge

  • 3-5 years in technical B2B sales, preferably in pipe systems, project-based or EPC environment.
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas, Water, Marine, or Infrastructure sectors
  • Understanding of composite materials, pipeline technology, or industrial solutions
  • Proven success in hitting sales targets and growing client portfolios

Technical & Commercial Skills

  • Strong technical aptitude; ability to explain complex product features to technical/non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing the full sales lifecycle, from lead gen to closing deals
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Skilled in preparing proposals, bids, and tailored commercial presentations

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams
  • Self-driven, organized, and resilient in a field-based sales environment

Location & Travel

  • Based in the UK, preferably with access to London for periodic office visits
  • Open to frequent travel (50%+) across the UK, with some international travel as required

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred
