We are partnering with a global leader in engineered solutions to hire an experienced and driven Sales Manager UK (Hybrid - London Office). This is a key field-based role focused on developing business across South England. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient and commercially sharp, with a proven track record in project-based B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical B2B sales efforts across the UK, focusing on South England
- Develop and manage client accounts, from prospecting through to delivery
- Conduct technical presentations and support bids and proposals
- Identify opportunities in EPC and project-driven environments
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and relevant industry events
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, inside sales, delivery)
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 3-5 years in technical B2B sales, preferably in pipe systems, project-based or EPC environment.
- Exposure to Oil & Gas, Water, Marine, or Infrastructure sectors
- Understanding of composite materials, pipeline technology, or industrial solutions
- Proven success in hitting sales targets and growing client portfolios
Technical & Commercial Skills
- Strong technical aptitude; ability to explain complex product features to technical/non-technical audiences
- Experience managing the full sales lifecycle, from lead gen to closing deals
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office tools
- Skilled in preparing proposals, bids, and tailored commercial presentations
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams
- Self-driven, organized, and resilient in a field-based sales environment
Location & Travel
- Based in the UK, preferably with access to London for periodic office visits
- Open to frequent travel (50%+) across the UK, with some international travel as required
Education
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred
