We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP and IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and oversee the strategic implementation, management, and optimization of the SAP systems and IT infrastructure of our prestigious client based in Muscat, Oman.

Qualifications:

Educational and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but optional).
  • Industry certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), PMP (Project Management Professional), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
  • Strong preference for candidates with certifications in Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect to support cloud migration and integration.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role in IT, preferably within contracting, manufacturing, or multi-site operations.
  • Proven experience in SAP ERP implementation and management.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale IT infrastructure and multi-location networks, ideally within a group of companies or similar organizational structure.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP) administration and integration, with hands-on experience in optimizing SAP systems for large teams.
  • Deep understanding of SAP systems.
  • Oversee the management and support of SAP systems and lead the re-implementation of SAP ERP.
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS), with a focus on scalability and disaster recovery.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity and data protection protocols to safeguard systems across diverse locations.

Leadership and Strategic Planning Skills:

  • Experience in strategic IT planning and budget management, including forecasting and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to lead digital transformation initiatives, implement process improvements, and drive IT innovations that align with organizational goals.
  • Ability to mentor and develop IT staff, fostering a high-performance, responsive IT team that meets evolving business demands.

Project Management and Vendor Relations:

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), with experience leading large IT projects, especially in software and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Strong non-commercial vendor management skills, including negotiating with IT service providers, managing software and hardware contracts, and coordinating with third-party suppliers.
