Role Summary
We are looking to hire a Talent and Performance Officer for our prestigious client in Aviation industry based in Abu Dhabi. The Talent and Performance Officer is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategies related to learning & talent management, employee performance, and organizational growth. This role involves managing learning and talent initiatives, performance evaluations, and succession planning. The Talent and Performance Officer works closely with senior leadership to align the workforce's capabilities with the organization's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Talent Management
- Conduct training needs assessments, identifying the requirements of employees and the organization to ensure that learning programs are relevant and effective.
- Design and develop as required Training Programs tailored to meet identified needs, utilizing various methodologies and technologies.
- Facilitate training sessions, leading workshops and training sessions to deliver educational content directly to employees, ensuring engagement and understanding.
- Evaluate training effectiveness, assessing the impact of training initiatives through feedback, performance metrics, and ROI analysis to ensure continuous improvement.
- Oversee the administration of LMS, including tracking employee progress and generating reports on training outcomes.
- Ensure training materials are updated, accessible, and meet aviation and HR learning requirements.
- Generate reports on training completion rates, learning effectiveness, and compliance tracking.
Performance Management
- Coordinate performance management systems, including setting performance objectives and monitoring employee progress.
- Assist managers in conducting mid-year and end of year performance evaluations and provide guidance on effective feedback methods.
- Administer and record performance improvement plans and individual development plans as required
- Manage succession planning processes, ensuring there are clear career progression paths for employees.
Experience and Profile Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in learning and development, training, talent or performance.
- Basic understanding of instructional design, and training evaluation methods.
- Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Understanding of performance management systems and employee development strategies.
- Excellent command of the English language (oral/written) and strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and reporting.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Preference to UAE National.
