Our client in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a leader in offshore drilling, seeks a Director of Operational Excellence & Efficiency to champion performance and fleet optimization and steer a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will drive operational excellence strategies across offshore projects, ensuring top-tier efficiency, innovation, and alignment with the organizations long-term vision.

Duties & Responsibilities (shall include but not be limited to):

Acting to support the Offshore operations in the company by devising strategies for performance assessment, coaching, and development etc.

Overseeing all the company fleet operations regarding performance and efficiency.

Supervise the work of the operation performance monitoring and technical knowledge transfer personnel and provide guidance.

Report to the CEO the fleet operational performance challenges and the OEE committee recommendations and actions.

Developing and executing a strategic plan for the efficiency function on the performance of operations.

To provide strategic insight, technical leadership, and subject matter expertise to a pre‐eminent level.

Working in partnership with the operations to positively shape the technical, fiscal, commercial goals.

Develops and maintains all efficiency policies in RMS.

Ensures compliance with efficiency policies and procedures and is responsible for the overall quality of excellence & efficiency management on rigs.

Providing guidance and leadership to offshore staff.

Develop and implement operations optimization plan.

Manage REI elements, reports & control the KPI's.

Defines and communicates OEE management processes to rigs.

Drive and support operations, Downtime, Training & increasing the employees competency.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will require supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering with minimum 18 years of offshore drilling experience

Prefers Master's Degree in related major/field

Skills:

Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office products

Require database management and record keeping skills

Demonstrate basic math skills

Good oral and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to identify and resolve potential problems or discrepancies
