Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the overall finance functions in Penang
• Ensure full compliance with internal and external policies and procedures
• Drive the team to ensure timely submission of companys financial reporting according to group reporting deadlines
• Provide proactive financial expertise to the management for decisions making
• Review and implementation financial procedures and policies in order to strengthen the internal control over financial reporting
• Lead and provide supports to local management on the preparation of rolling forecast and yearly budget
• Responsible for cash flow and working capital management
• Work with local management in investment appraisals and evaluation
• Company liaison with external auditors, tax agent, bank and other financial institutions on accounting, treasury and financial matters
• Work with MIDA to obtain tax incentive
• Oversee tax management, ensuring tax and legal compliance
• Drive cost control measures and support Global projects
• Support ad-hoc request as and when required

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor degree in accounting, CPA, ACCA or equivalent
• At least 15 years of relevant working experience
• Analytical and result driven
• Strong communication and business partnering skills
• Able to speak/read Mandarin/Chinese and English
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Independent, meticulous and analytical
• Possess strong commitment, great initiative and responsible
• Experience in leading a team
