Luxury Apparel Store Manager (Relocate to Tokyo)
Job Description:
A Luxury Fashion Brand is Hiring a Store Manager in Tokyo Japan.
Position is in Tokyo Japan.
Relocation Assistance and visa sponsorship will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
Drive Business and Deliver Results
- Utilize strategic approaches to develop, monitor, and improve measurable metrics that drive business growth to achieve financial targets.
- Lead by example to supervise client development, build and maintain strong client relationships, and actively generate robust performance through outreach services and the customer business created by sales personnel.
- Develop business promotion plans to foster existing clients or attract new clients.
- Create and oversee an ideal sales environment, providing continuous guidance in sales, product, and customer training to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
- Leverage networks to maximize sales, customer traffic, floor coverage, and client engagement.
- Actively acquire product purchasing and allocation information related to client preferences and potential business.
- Analyze, interpret, and strategically use data (internal measurements and external trends) to identify key issues and maximize business development; this includes reporting key information and informing company partners.
- Flexibly manage the business by adjusting direction and continually improving based on key metrics and lessons learned.
Leadership and Personnel Management
- Lead by example, demonstrating the company's core values through behavior and conduct.
- Align the team with the company's overall vision and strategy to maximize business development.
- Set clear goals and expectations, demanding high standards of performance from employees.
- Manage the performance and development of the entire team.
- Create and execute effective communication strategies for the store (both team-based and one-on-one) to ensure team members are engaged and informed.
- Maintain a steadfast commitment to self-development and growth.
Create Consumer Experience
- Lead by example to create an environment and team capable of consistently delivering diverse consumer experiences.
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to create, build, and manage an efficient sales environment.
- Offer diverse consumer experiences in the boutique providing personalized services based on client preferences and developing and maintaining productive client relationships.
- Ensure visual merchandising and maintenance standards are consistently met.
Operational Excellence
- Understand the importance of all store operations and ensure they run efficiently.
- Consistently adhere to all operational procedures and guidelines.
- Be proficient or skilled in all core systems and technologies, including but not limited to POS, client manuals, iPads, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Comply with all loss prevention and operational policies and procedures to protect company assets.
- Manage all inventory dynamics, handling markdowns, transfers, RTV and consolidations, damages and repairs, receiving, customer deliveries, POS transactions, etc., correctly and promptly.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business or Fashion-related fields).
- Over 5 years of experience as a store manager in a luxury or service-related work environment.
- Proven track record of successful work experience.
