Job Name: HR Manager
Working Location : Guro-gu, Seoul.
The HR Manager for Korea will report to the Korea General Manager. He/She will be a hands-on business partner who will manage the day-to-day HR responsibilities as well as help drive the company's growth. The HR Manager will be in charge of developing and executing an HR plan with a strong focus on supporting the business, but also on talent acquisition, talent development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and post-merger integration. This role can require travelling between branches (Seoul/Hwaseong/Busan). Currently the Headcount is 400.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with labor law, benefits, insurance and regulations
- Ensure a robust payroll process with high quality of delivery
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection
- Be responsible for the onboarding and release of employees as well as the update of the HR software
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law
- Ensure the Talent Management cycle is followed, from performance appraisals, training and succession plan as well as engagement initiatives
- Deliver the monthly HR KPI report to the Global HR HQ to support business decisions and track performance
- Manage the process of salary reviews ensuring the compensation packages are fitting the P&L objectives and remain competitive
- Manage the yearly revision of insurance and benefits
- Propose the bonus for the leadership team and validate the bonuses attributed
- Participate in the M&A due diligence, as well as be in charge of the post-merger integration plan
- Demonstrate an ability to partner with business while increasing productivity and retention
Job Qualifications
We're looking for required skills, and they can come from any combination of education and experience. Typical qualifications include:
- At least 5 years of experience, ideally in an industrial environment
- Degree in HR or Business Administration
- Fluent spoken and written English, MNC work experience preferred
- Relevant experience in payroll management
- Strong background in employee relations and legal compliance, recruitment and selections, performance management, compensation
- Direct experience in employee engagement initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills verbal and written with open and direct communication style
- Experience leading during mergers and acquisitions, implementing, and expanding company processes and values and aligning compensation practices
- Hands-on and result driven
- Strong skills using Excel and Pack office
- Experience in Info-Tech HR system would be a plus
- Required to travel to various branches in Korea
