Vice Rector
Job Description:
Our client is one of the universities located in Central Java.
Responsibilities:
The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs assists the Rector in overseeing the academic sector, including education, research, and community service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, implementing, mentoring, and developing the educational capabilities of faculty members.
- Planning, implementing, mentoring, and advancing research initiatives conducted by faculty members.
- Preparing for the establishment of new study programs and managing accreditation processes.
- Planning and coordinating educational and research collaborations with institutions, both domestically and internationally.
- Planning, implementing, and managing laboratory operations.
- Overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of academic journals, books, and other literature.
- Processing and managing data related to education, research, and community service activities.
- Leading community service initiatives to help address societal and developmental challenges.
- Submitting an annual report on all activities to the Rector.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree from an accredited domestic university or a recognized foreign university with equivalency approval from the Ministry.
- Serves as a Civil Servant Lecturer (PNS) or a Permanent Non-Civil Servant Lecturer at an accredited domestic university or a recognized foreign university, holding a minimum academic rank of Associate Professor (Lektor Kepala) or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a leadership position, such as Head of a Study Program or an equivalent role.
- Demonstrates integrity and a strong academic track record.
- Possesses vision, insight, and a strong interest in university development.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of the national education system and the ability to implement it effectively.
