Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development processes.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT, with 1-2 years of experience handling/leading a development team with Agile methodology expertise.
  • Proficiency in Agile techniques such as story refinement, estimation, velocity tracking, and retrospectives.
  • Expertise in JIRA or equivalent Agile project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Rally).
  • Ability to collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams on planning and problem-solving.
  • Experience in identifying and resolving blockers to improve team effectiveness.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching, and communication (written & verbal) skills.
  • Can start immediately if possible.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
  • Experience with scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
  • Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD principles to support Agile development teams better.
  • Understanding of SOC 2 or other compliance frameworks would be beneficial given the company's focus on security and compliance.
  • Knowledge of HR systems (HCM and/or SuccessFactors) is a big plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Agile Facilitation & Team Performance

  • Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile principles, best practices, and effective coaching techniques to ensure successful sprint execution, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, reinforce sprint success by ensuring all deliverables are met (code, documentation, deployment, etc.), and encourage cross-functional collaboration to eliminate silos.

Driving Agile Maturity & Culture

  • Act as a change agent for Agile transformation by continuously improving Agile practices, fostering an Agile mindset, and creating an environment of learning, transparency, and adaptability.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to enhance Agile adoption across teams.

Enabling Team Autonomy & Ownership

  • Coach the team in self-organization, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders while encouraging ownership of sprint goals and commitments.
  • Empower developers to align their work with Stratos' scalability, quality, and continuous deployment objectives.

Metrics, Reporting & Risk Management

  • Track Agile metrics like sprint velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time to monitor team performance, identify improvement areas, and provide key insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Identify risks and blockers early, collaborating with teams and leadership to proactively resolve them.

Collaboration & Cross-Team Coordination

  • Ensure smooth coordination between teams, especially when dealing with dependencies and integrations.
  • Support cross-team collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps to align sprint goals with company priorities.
