CT Technologist
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our company dynamic radiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process to ease any concerns.
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate scans.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of CT equipment.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs during procedures.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review images and assist in diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information.
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Rad Tech experience.
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Compassionate and caring approach to patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level I trauma center experience.
- Experience starting IVs. (ACLS).
- Experience with Philips CT technology.
- Experience with Epic EMR.
- Experience with Visage PACS system.
SCHEDULE:
The standard shift for this position is 10am-8pm on weekdays, and weekend shifts are 3pm-1am. Every other weekend required.
