CT Technologist

 Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our company dynamic radiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality imaging.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process to ease any concerns.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate scans.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of CT equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs during procedures.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to review images and assist in diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Rad Tech experience.
  • Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level I trauma center experience.
  • Experience starting IVs. (ACLS).
  • Experience with Philips CT technology.
  • Experience with Epic EMR.
  • Experience with Visage PACS system.

SCHEDULE:

The standard shift for this position is 10am-8pm on weekdays, and weekend shifts are 3pm-1am. Every other weekend required.
