Job Description – Senior PHP CodeIgniter Developer (5+ Years)

Location:501-A, International Trade Center (ITC), Ring Road, Majura Gate, Surat, Gujarat
Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO) — WFH for exceptional candidates only
Salary: Up to ₹1,25,000 per month (based on experience and interview)
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP CodeIgniter Developer to work on RecurPost, a fast-growing global SaaS platform. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in CodeIgniter 3, API integrations, MySQL optimization, and modern web development practices.

You will be working with a talented team to build scalable features, improve system performance, and integrate social media APIs.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP (CodeIgniter 3).
Design efficient MySQL databases, optimize queries, and ensure high performance.
Integrate and consume RESTful APIs, including Social Media APIs (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter).
Build dynamic, interactive front-end components using JavaScript and jQuery.
Work with AWS S3 buckets for media storage and Azure Queues for asynchronous tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and resolve issues.
Conduct research and development to explore new integrations and technologies.
Maintain high-quality code using Git/GitHub version control.
Troubleshoot, debug, and ensure application stability and security.

Required Skills Experience
Strong hands-on experience with PHP CodeIgniter 3 (CI3).
Expertise in MySQL database design, indexing, and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, and modern web standards.
Experience working with REST APIs, OAuth, and integration workflows.
Knowledge of AWS S3 and Azure Queues (or similar cloud services).
Experience with Social Media APIs is highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferably based in Surat, Gujarat, or willing to relocate.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design.
Experience with Linux/Ubuntu environments.
Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
Experience working on SaaS platforms.
