We are seeking a Global Key Account Manager (Senior Director) to lead the strategic relationship with a major global account. In this highly visible commercial leadership role, you will drive revenue growth across IQVIA offerings and service lines, shape global account strategy, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that address complex client priorities.
You will partner with senior stakeholders, deepen relationships across the client organization, identify new areas of opportunity, and position IQVIA as a strategic partner. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, commercial acumen, and the ability to connect client needs with IQVIA’s broad portfolio of data, technology, analytics, clinical, and commercial capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute a global account strategy aligned to IQVIA Health priorities, client objectives, and long-term growth opportunities.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, executive sponsors, and decision makers across the account.
- Expand and deepen engagement across the client organization, including identifying new audiences, influencers, and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Drive customer satisfaction, secure key renewals, and grow sustainable revenue streams across IQVIA offerings and service lines.
- Lead global, regional, functional, and business-unit account teams to build a strong opportunity pipeline and deliver coordinated client engagement.
- Leverage internal best practices, market insights, and cross-functional expertise to identify new business opportunities and improve account performance.
- Assess business risks and market changes that could impact the account relationship, including competitive dynamics, client strategy, portfolio priorities, and R&D pipeline shifts.
- Orchestrate internal resources, remove barriers, and align teams around innovative solutions that support renewals, expansion, and strategic growth.
- Position IQVIA Health as a strategic partner across primary solution areas and emerging capabilities.
- Contribute input to solution development, thought leadership, and new business partnerships for large pharmaceutical accounts.
- Introduce and position new IQVIA Health assets, acquisitions, and capabilities with relevant client stakeholders.
- Personally lead strategic global or multi-country opportunities that are critical to achieving account plan and financial goals.
- Mentor account leaders and junior colleagues, helping strengthen performance, commercial discipline, and leadership capability.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, commercial services, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex, global strategic accounts.
- Proven ability to grow revenue by selling complex, multi-service solutions across a broad portfolio of capabilities.
- Track record of balancing near-term opportunity execution with long-term strategic account development.
- Experience navigating global matrixed organizations and managing multiple sophisticated client relationships simultaneously.
Skills and Capabilities
- Executive presence and credibility with C-suite, senior commercial, and strategic decision makers.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and opportunity management skills across the full sales cycle.
- Ability to translate client priorities into clear account plans, measurable actions, and disciplined execution.
- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, pipeline management, revenue planning, and account performance reporting.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across functions, geographies, and business units.
- High degree of ownership, accountability, resilience, and self-motivation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $129,800.00 - $361,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
