ICON is urgently seeking a temporary (three-year contract) Logistics Quality Control Specialist to lead operations at our licensed pharmaceutical warehouse in Belarus. This mission-critical role safeguards product integrity and regulatory compliance for clinical trial supplies.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Managing daily warehouse operations including the receipt, storage, and distribution of clinical and medical materials.
  • Ensuring full compliance with the Ministry of Health (Belarus) license terms and all applicable pharmaceutical and sanitary regulations.
  • Overseeing quality control across logistics processes including documentation, temperature control, product tracking, and equipment readiness.
  • Handling recalls, returns, and disposal of medical waste in accordance with national legislation and ICON SOPs.
  • Leading inspections, audits, and the maintenance of regulatory documentation and reporting.
  • Acting as the point of contact for quality issues and working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.

 

Your Profile:

  • Higher pharmaceutical education and qualification as a pharmacist-specialist.
  • First Qualification Category holder (mandatory for compliance with licensing requirements).
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical logistics or warehouse quality control (clinical trial supply experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Belarusian regulations governing pharmaceutical warehouses and GDP.
    • Rules for storing, handling, and transporting medicinal products, including controlled substances.
    • Sanitary, safety, and operational standards for pharmaceutical sites.
  • Competence in warehouse software and documentation systems.
  • English proficiency (B1 or higher) – must be able to liaise with global ICON teams.
  • Highly organised, safety-focused,  strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and with external partners.
