The Therapeutic Area Knowledge Transfer Director, Rare Diseases is a key member the Rare Diseases and Global Medical Excellence teams, reporting to the Head of Training and Capabilities.
As the Therapeutic Area Knowledge Transfer Associate Director, Rare Diseases you will:
Strategic design and oversight of therapeutic area scientific training for all medical functions
To be considered for this role you will have a relevant qualification ideally with a post-graduate Degree e.g. MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA coupled with a proven track record in Medical Affairs or Significant Experience within a Medical Communications Agency working within Specialty Care. Prior experience in data analysis and statistics for purpose of understanding clinical study results and in developing and delivering

The Therapeutic Area Knowledge Transfer Director, Rare Diseases is a key member the Rare Diseases and Global Medical Excellence teams, reporting to the Head of Training and Capabilities.
As the Therapeutic Area Knowledge Transfer Associate Director, Rare Diseases you will:
- be responsible for the design and delivery of all aspects of therapy area (TA) scientific training and knowledge assessment for a suite of rare disease products.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the TA and work very closely with the TA Medical Directors (MD), to ensure full alignment with Asset Medical strategy and TA advances
- Transfer to affiliate medical should be coordinated with ‘region/cluster’ MDs and affiliate MDs to ensure transparency and alignment with geographic needs
Strategic design and oversight of therapeutic area scientific training for all medical functions
- Strategic oversight of coordination and delivery of training related to clinical fluency, and scientific expertise for all medical functions.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners/providers, in assessing therapeutic area and scientific knowledge
- Ensure the sustainability of training with the development of training updates and revisions provided in a timely manner and in relation to new scientific updates
- Assess training needs across GMA, LMA on a periodic basis and ensure appropriate training is timely delivered
- Identify local training needs, implement solutions and assess outcomes
- Collaborate to develop synergy with the wider LD community including the Strategic Business Excellence team in the training approach for all scientific related projects and co-create training materials where appropriate.
