Job Summary

• Our Technical Service Team plays a crucial role in providing expert solutions to pharmaceutical manufacturers, ensuring the successful promotion and application of Ashland products and technologies.
• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to join our Technical Service Team. This position will be responsible for providing technical service to promote ready-mix film-coatings.
• This role involves a combination of technical expertise, customer interaction, and troubleshooting skills.
  
  

The Scientist - Technical Services Is Responsible For

• Utilize advanced color matching techniques for customizing ready-mix coatings and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to understand specific requirements and preferences, delivering coatings that meet desired functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Troubleshoot film-coating related challenges faced by customers by identifying and implementing effective solutions.
• Provide timely and efficient technical support to troubleshoot issues, fostering strong customer relationships through problem resolution.
• Actively participate in development and customization of coating formulations. Ensure developed formulations meet customer requirements and adhere to industry standards, effectively communicating the value proposition to customers.
• Conduct on-site demonstrations of coatings, showcasing their application and performance to customers. Gather feedback during demonstrations to continuously improve and tailor solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
• Follow rigorous good lab practices for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to ready-mix coating experiments and formulations.
• Ensure the proper upkeep of instruments and equipment used in the development and testing of coatings to guarantee consistent quality.
• Work closely with commercial and business development teams to understand market trends, customer needs, and industry dynamics.
• Contribute valuable insights to the development of customized solutions, aligning product offerings with market demands.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in coating technology.
• Provide recommendations for innovation and improvement, ensuring the company remains a leader in the field of ready-mix coatings.
