About The Role:

Provide expert literature search and analysis support to teams across Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Drug Development by delivering timely, relevant, and high-quality insights. Leverage advanced bibliographic and information management skills to construct precise search strategies, curate scientific and technical content, and support regulatory submissions, health agency requests, and formulary reviews. Collaborate globally to ensure consistent delivery of literature intelligence, contributing to informed decision-making and the responsible use of knowledge assets across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry: effective researching of product terminology/drug nomenclature, drug class hierarchies and competitors.
  • Product database knowledge: OVID, Embase.com, Pharmaprojects, Cortellis, Medline, Pubmed etc.
  • Ability to effectively construct precise drug literature search strategies.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Proficient in alert strategy creation.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive reviews of literature and analysis of scientific and technical published literature to support health agency requests, product submissions, formulary reviews, etc.
  • Advanced bibliographic expertise and information management.
  • Proficient in citation management tools, e.g. End Note; Mendeley.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant pharma industry or research experience, working in information sciences, knowledge management or corporate library operations. Proven scientific literature searching skills with experience utilizing pharmaceutical databases and resources. Good communication and presentation skills. In addition, knowledge, and experience of working in the fields of text mining, NLP and Knowledge graphs will be preferred.
  • Relevant scientific background, advanced Pharmacy/Life Science degree such as Biology or Pharmacology

Desirable Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively correspond – written and oral, with scientific/medical associates
  • Ability to collaborate with global colleagues
