Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as Sr. Officer – Process Development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Organic Chemistry and proven expertise in peptide chemistry and process development. This role requires independent project execution, technical proficiency in SPPS synthesis and API purification, and a collaborative approach to drive innovation and ensure process excellence. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage projects, including designing Reaction Optimization Strategies (ROS) and conducting R&D scale experiments
  • Plan and execute Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) activities with reproducible results
  • Perform Peptide API purification using Preparative HPLC
  • Operate, clean, and maintain instruments/equipment in accordance with SOPs
  • Identify and recommend improvements for continuous process optimization
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including online records, process logs, and R&D documentation
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure seamless coordination
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or equivalent discipline
  • For M.Sc. candidates: Minimum 5 years of experience in Peptide R&D
  • For Ph.D. candidates: Fresh graduates or those with less than 5 years of experience may be considered

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of peptide chemistry and SPPS techniques
  • Hands-on experience with Preparative HPLC and related analytical instruments
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
