We are specifically seeking someone with clinical experience from the health and social care sector with equality and diversity of thought being absolutely important.

We are seeking individuals that:

  • Have a background in influencing clinical services, ideally in palliative care.
  • Have experience navigating change and transformation within healthcare environments.
  • Have demonstrable passion for and belief in the work that we do.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a strong understanding of clinical governance, service improvement, audit processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Are committed to equality, diversity and inclusivity at all levels.
  • Have insight into the challenges and opportunities within palliative and end-of-life care.
  • Are willing to complete a PVG application due to the strategic nature of the role and its influence on clinical governance and patient care.

All skill sets and backgrounds will be considered - if you are an innovative and forward-thinking individual who shares our core values, we would like to hear from you.

Board Members should be able to commit to, when possible, attending 4 Board meetings and 4 Board seminars per year. In addition, Board Members are expected to attend any Committees that they are allocated to. These are also held on a quarterly basis.
