You will not be focused on high-volume programme delivery, compliance training, or managing standardised frameworks.

Instead, this role centres on:

  • Designing learning that drives long-term behavioural and leadership development
  • Balancing structure with adaptability in an evolving environment

The Role

As Head of Learning & Development, you will lead the design and stewardship of the organisation's learning strategy, architecture, and delivery.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will translate direction and intent into coherent learning journeys — integrating pedagogy, technology, and evaluation into a system that delivers meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve organisation-wide learning strategy and architecture
  • Translate business and leadership priorities into structured learning journeys
  • Build and uphold high standards in facilitation, faculty capability, and learner experience
  • Oversee delivery across in-person and digital environments
  • Develop a thoughtful learning technology ecosystem, including AI-enabled pathways
  • Establish frameworks to measure learning impact and behavioural outcomes
  • Partner senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor on leadership and capability development
  • Manage external partnerships, vendors, and learning platforms

About You

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or Talent Management
  • Proven experience designing and leading large-scale leadership development initiatives
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders in complex, evolving environments
  • Strong grounding in adult learning, instructional design, and behavioural science
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches

You are someone who can think strategically while executing with clarity — able to navigate ambiguity, engage stakeholders thoughtfully, and translate ideas into structured outcomes.
