Our client operates a national biomedical research facility supporting high-containment and translational research critical to public health preparedness. They are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end procurement functions. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective procurement operations aligned with organizational strategy and governance standards.

About the Role

• Lead and execute procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with organizational procurement policies, processes, and governance standards.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define, validate, and manage scope of work and procurement requirements.
• Source and evaluate new vendors and service providers, driving cost-effective and value-added procurement solutions.
• Manage vendor evaluation and negotiations, including review of quotations and proposals.
• Coordinate contract and service agreement reviews with stakeholders and prepare documentation for approvals.
• Identify gaps in procurement processes and recommend improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.

About You

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in procurement, ideally with exposure to RFP processes and solutions procurement.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Good analytical and negotiation skills, with a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Professional, hands-on and detail-oriented with experience supporting procurement audits being an advantage.
