We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to join their team as the Head of Communications and Branding.

Role Overview 

You will lead the development and execution of their branding, communications, and public relations strategies. This senior leadership role will shape and enhance the company's brand image, manage key partnerships, and oversee public relations efforts across multiple channels. The successful candidate will lead a small team, collaborate closely with senior leadership, and drive impactful communication initiatives that elevate the brand's visibility, reputation, and influence.

Key responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy and Development:
    Lead the creation and execution of a cohesive brand strategy that reflects the company's vision, values, and objectives. Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels and platforms.
  • Public Relations and Media Relations:
    Drive strategic public relations initiatives, managing media outreach, crisis communication, and securing high-quality media placements that enhance the brand's reputation. Build and nurture strong relationships with key media outlets.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations:
    Identify and develop strategic partnerships that align with the companys branding and business objectives. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including industry influencers, government agencies, and community leaders, to drive brand awareness and business growth.
  • Events and Brand Activations:
    Oversee the planning and execution of high-profile events, brand activations, and corporate sponsorships. Ensure these events align with our strategic goals, creating memorable experiences that promote brand engagement.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of  communications and branding professionals, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment. Provide guidance on content creation, messaging, and brand positioning.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    Regularly track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of branding and communication initiatives. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience as a cultural partner in managing organization culture transformation projects and or branding of an experience, journey, culture or other intangible assets, such as unspoken behaviors, mindsets and social patterns.
  • 15-20 years of relevant experience in brand, marketing & communications with proven track record of significant positive return on investment
  • Extensive experience in strategic marketing and brand leadership function with proven ability to evaluate and develop profitable strategies.
  • Served/serving as an integral member of an established global/regional boards/committee(s)
  • Prior experience or passionate in book launches and PR activities is a plus.
  • Strong strategy development and project management capabilities
  • Hands-on experience in engaging with PR & Branding Agency and media targeting business executive and Human Resources communities.
  • Hands-on experience in business executives or public figures image management.
  • Hands-on experience in working with social media and digital marketing tools to build brand awareness.
