The Role
The Learning & Development Manager will spearhead research, planning, and coordination of curriculum development, assessment, and improvement. This critical role ensures developmental programs align with learning goals, standards, and best practices while driving organizational growth and capability development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with teams to review, develop, and design learning curriculum materials.
- Ensure alignment with developmental standards and objectives.
- Project Management:
- Oversee curriculum development projects, including budgeting and timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of trainers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers.
- Monitor project milestones to ensure successful completion.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with colleagues to gather feedback on learning needs and designs.
- Collaborate with external partners, experts, and researchers to enhance curriculum initiatives.
- Build and maintain a network of collaborators, facilitators, and OD practitioners.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of research methodologies, findings, and outcomes.
- Prepare and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferably a postgraduate degree in philosophy, history, organizational behaviors, L&D, or a related field.
- Experience in curriculum development, educational research, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and statistical tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
