Partnership Lead

 Job Description:

This is a key role in the Group Branding and Communications team, which will drive the integrated brand strategy and establish the brand credibility, particularly in planning and executing its activation, positioning, marketing, and communication activities. The incumbent will need to seek out, engage, negotiate, and maintain partnerships/sponsorships (hereunder referred as "Brand Partnership") and or other collaborative arrangements to position as well as realize the Well-being movement represented by The Brand.

(Note: this is limited to partnerships that directly impact the Brand and does not include business partnership.)

This team is responsible for Partnership that will drive the following aspects:

  • Drive the Partnership aspect aligned with the Integrated Brand strategy: Develop, Translate, and Guard the Brand Partnership.
  • Lead the implementation of The Brand Partnership Position, Represent, Raise Profile of the Brand.
  • Build and Sustain The Brand Partnership and Community/Network Management.

Brand Partnership Developer

Develop the strategy for The Brand Partnership activation and promotion of ESG & Impact Investing to include but not limited to initiatives for:

  • Partnership
  • Sponsorship
  • Collaboration

Brand Partnership Translator

  • Develop narrative to clearly articulate The Brand proposition to the relevant partnership/sponsorship.
  • Develop key messaging pillars for partners and sponsors that are aligned to The Brand's narrative.
  • Develop, review, and keep up to date a partnership and sponsorship kit to guide and align cross-functional and cross-border Brand Partnership initiatives.

Brand Partnership Guardian

Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-border teams to ensure alignment and integration of partnership and sponsorship strategy and initiatives across the organization with The Brand.

Brand Partnership Strategist

Monitor and analyse market trends and activities, that affects partnership and sponsorships, providing insights and recommendations for renewal, modifications, or changes to the strategy.

  • Identify and highlight potential collaboration between partners / sponsors to amplify impact.
  • Manage and align partners / sponsors purpose and intention to The Brand and realize the impact of the partnership/sponsorship.
  • Stay up to date with partners/sponsors developments to constantly modify and or enhance partnership/sponsorship strategies.

Brand Ambassador

  • Implement and lead the brand positioning with partners, sponsors and other collaborators aligned with the planned impact pillars.
  • Constantly develop new partnership / sponsorship potential by reaching and influencing new collaborators to broaden impact of The Brand.

Brand Messenger

Support and collaborate with PR & Marketing to develop messages for the creation of content to further The Brand.

Brand Partnership Manager

Implement and lead delivery the strategic plan that underpins The Brand Partnership strategy that includes but not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining relevant relationships and drive ROI on investments in sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and recommending partnerships and institutions to work with, to further promote the brands.
  • Leading the negotiation and execution of partnership and sponsorship agreements, ensuring that the terms are aligned with the brand's strategic objectives and overall business goals.
  • Managing and overseeing the delivery of all partnership and sponsorship activities, ensuring that they are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of partnership and sponsorship programs against defined KPIs and report on results to senior management.

Community Builder

  • Collaborate with events team for the curation of networking events.
  • Be the primary interface/contact person for specific groups of event partners, vendors and sponsors during the run-up to events and onsite at events.
  • Update and maintain a robust network.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in brand partnerships, sponsorships, collaboration, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to develop, manage, and execute successful partnership and sponsorship programs.
  • Expertise in aligning brand positioning with partnership and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG principles, sustainability frameworks, and impact investing.
  • Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and cultivate partnerships with potential partners and institutions, NGOs, government entities, and community organizations.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of developing and executing complex partnership and sponsorship agreements.
  • Excellent project management skills, coordinating cross-functional and cross-border teams to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market trends, competitor activity, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Experience managing partnerships in international contexts, with sensitivity to cultural and regional nuances.
