The Strategic Communications and Partnerships team is looking for a highly driven and resourceful individual who is experienced in securing funds, capable of creating strategic partnerships to build and expand Allkin Singapores donor base, and passionate about the social service sector.

The Assistant Manager/Manager, Fundraising & Partnerships is responsible for driving the development and implementation of effective fundraising strategies, identifying new fundraising and partnership opportunities, with the aim of growing and supplementing current funding streams, to support Allkin Singapores journey towards financial sustainability.

Roles & Responsibilities

Fund-raising Strategy Development

  • Identify funding needs and develop targeted strategies.
  • Develop and implement programmes and initiatives that attract potential new partners and benefactors supported by monitoring frameworks.

Partnership Development & Management

  • Identify and cultivate potential corporate partners, foundations and key stakeholders to secure mutually beneficial partnerships and sponsorships agreements.
  • Coordinate partnership activities such as joint campaigns, employee engagement opportunities with a view to ensuring long-term relationships with meaningful and tangible impact.

Donor Engagement

  • Identify and engage major potential donors to support the organisations key programmes including high-net-worth individuals, corporations and foundations.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and reports to demonstrate the impact of donations on the organisations programmes and initiatives.
  • Maintain and cultivate existing relationships reinforcing the impact and value of the support given with a view to retaining and growing the contribution levels.

Fundraising Campaigns & Events Planning

  • Conceptualise and lead the planning and execution of key fundraising events/initiatives (such as charity galas, donor appreciation events, and fundraising campaigns) to engage and enhance donors and stakeholders experience and stewardship.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful event logistics and donor engagement.
  • Evaluate and report on campaign/event performance, making recommendations for future improvements.

Financial Oversight & Impact Reporting

  • Manage budgets for fundraising & partnership activities ensuring cost-effectiveness, positive return on investment, and acceptable fundraising efficiency ratio.
  • Provide regular updates to Board and Senior Management on fundraising progress, donor relationships, and pipeline generation.
  • Work with relevant departments to monitor and report on key success metrics for programmes and initiatives, including community outcomes and impact, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors, highlighting how their contributions have impacted the organisations programs.

Other responsibilities and duties

  • Secretariat duties for Fundraising Sub-committee, and other workgroups as and when assigned.
  • Perform other duties as and when assigned by supervisor.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in relevant field of study such as Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, major gifts, or corporate partnerships
  • Demonstrable knowledge of soliciting and stewarding donors and a strong track record of success in securing funds from corporate partners, foundations and individual donors.
  • Experience in planning and delivering fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Experience in engaging, building relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with corporate CSR programmes and partnership development.
  • Understanding of marketing and donor acquisition strategies for digital platforms
  • Strong project management, organisational and financial management skills.
  • Knowledge of fundraising regulations, data protection and sector best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive results through a data-driven approach, focusing on measurable outcomes and growth.
  • Proficiency in using fundraising databases such as Salesforce, CRM systems and digital tools.
