Manager, Merchandising & Planning
Job Description:
Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a strategic and detailed-oriented Merchandising and Planning Manager to lead our product selection, acquisition, and display strategies across retail, outlet, and e-commerce channels. This role is pivotal in driving sales, optimizing inventory, and aligning merchandising initiatives with the company's business objectives. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless execution of buying and planning activities and ongoing performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies and buying plans.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behaviour to inform decisions.
- Manage budgets, inventory levels, and promoting campaigns.
- Collaborate with global teams and cross-functional departments.
- Oversee outlet-specific planning, mark downs, and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in merchandising or retail buying (fashion/leather goods preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookup).
- Experience with SAP and financial planning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
