Our client is a leading conglomerate with diversified interests across industrial, real estate and hospitality and investment management. As a result of regional growth, they are seeking a high calibre individual to join them as Managing Director Real Estate.

The Managing Director, Real Estate will be responsible for supporting the acquisition, development, and management of real estate transactions. The primary focus will be on executing the overall real estate strategy for the Group, encompassing various asset classes such as commercial, hospitality, and industrial properties. This is a broad-based role which requires familiarity across the various real estate areas include development, project management, portfolio and asset management.

The ideal candidate is likely to possess:

• Extensive experience in real estate (15+ years and above), with a track record of leadership positions.
• In-depth knowledge of real estate investment, development, and property management practices, with a focus on mixed-used developments including hospitality.
• Knowledge of the Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian and Thai real estate markets, and regulations is an asset.
• Strong understanding of real estate investment analysis, market trends, and financial modelling.
• Strong business acumen and financial acumen, with the ability to analyse complex financial data and make strategic decisions.
• Proven track record of driving business growth, achieving financial targets, and managing large-scale real estate projects.
• Strong understanding of market trends, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate challenges, and provide innovative solutions.
