What Youll Do:

  • Discovery Management: Oversee the entire discovery process, including drafting and responding to requests, coordinating document production, and maintaining privilege logs.
  • Litigation Support: Assist with legal research, deposition preparation, trial preparation, and post-trial filings to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
  • Case Oversight: Organize case files, maintain litigation calendars, and track critical deadlines to keep matters on schedule.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, internal teams, and outside counsel to ensure timely and accurate case handling.
  • Record Maintenance: Manage and organize litigation records, filings, and correspondence in compliance with legal standards.

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years as a litigation paralegal with proven expertise in Personal Injury - discovery and full-cycle case management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research tools, and litigation support software (Mycase)
  • Organization & Detail: Exceptional ability to prioritize, manage multiple cases, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and provide practical solutions under pressure.

What You'll Do:

  • Medical Records Management: Order, review, and summarize medical records for discovery responses.
  • Client Communication: Conduct regular interviews and provide timely case updates.
  • Case Preparation: Evaluate cases for attorney review and filing.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee case progress using electronic case management systems.
  • Document Drafting: Prepare pleadings, complaints, discovery responses, and professional correspondence.
  • Attorney Support: Assist attorneys and senior paralegals with case strategy and preparation.
  • Deadline Management: Track statutes of limitations and ensure timely filings.
