ESG CONSULTANT (Banking Domain)

Our client in Karachi is looking for an ESG Consultant to join their team in Saddar. This role involves supporting banks and financial institutions in developing and implementing ESG strategies aligned with regulatory and international standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Advise financial institutions on ESG strategy development, execution, and reporting. 

* Conduct ESG assessments and gap analyses based on global frameworks

* Interpret ESG regulatory requirements such-like as SBPs Green Banking Guidelines

* Help design ESG risk frameworks integrated into credit, investment, and operational risk processes

* Support sustainable finance initiatives like green bonds, ESG-linked loans, and responsible investment products

* Deliver ESG awareness and training sessions for banking professionals

* Stay updated on ESG trends, regulatory changes, and best practices impacting the finance sector.

* Contribute to proposals, business development efforts, and ESG-related content

Requirements

* Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Software Engineering, or a related field

* 12 years of relevant experience in ESG, sustainability, finance, or consulting
