Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Banking Technology Advisor to provide strategic technology advice to banking clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of banking technology, excellent advisory skills, and the ability to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic technology advice to banking clients, including IT strategy, digital transformation, and technology innovation.
2. Conduct IT assessments, gap analyses, and benchmarking studies to identify areas for improvement.
3. Develop and implement technology roadmaps, architectures, and solutions for banking clients.
4. Collaborate with clients to identify business requirements and develop technology solutions to meet those needs.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, and other senior IT executives.
7. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of proposals and pitches.
8. Provide thought leadership and expertise to internal teams, including writing articles, speaking at events, and participating in industry forums.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 10 years of experience in banking technology, including experience in IT advisory, consulting, or a similar role.
2. Deep understanding of banking technology, including core banking systems, digital channels, payment systems, and risk management systems.
3. Excellent advisory and consulting skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Strong business acumen and understanding of the banking industry, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
5. Experience working with senior IT executives, including CIOs and CTOs.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex technical data and develop creative solutions.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write reports, proposals, and articles.
