Job Summary

Our client is  seeking a reliable and experienced Procurement Officer to join their team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and purchasing best practices. You will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Management:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers

- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers

2. Procurement Processes:

- Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with company policies

- Track orders and ensure timely delivery

- Manage and resolve any issues related to procurement

3. Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

4. Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal departments to forecast procurement needs

- Provide procurement support and advice to internal stakeholders

Requirements

- 2-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

- Skills:

- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

- Knowledge of local market and supplier base in the UAE is a plus

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software tools
