Job Title: Flight Simulator Instructor
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Flight Simulator Instructor to join our team. As a Flight Simulator Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality training to pilots and aviation professionals using our state-of-the-art flight simulators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation, excellent instructional skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic training environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver training sessions to pilots and aviation professionals, using our flight simulators to simulate various flight scenarios and conditions.
2. Collaborate with our training team to develop, update, and refine training programs to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
3. Assess student performance during simulator training sessions, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them improve their skills.
4. Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to ensure our flight simulators are functioning correctly and efficiently.
5. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest developments in aviation, flight simulation, and training methodologies.
6. Work with other instructors to share best practices, develop new training scenarios, and ensure consistency in our training programs.
7. Keep accurate records of student performance, training sessions, and simulator maintenance.
Requirements:
1. 3+ years of experience and hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
2.Hold a valid Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) or be willing to obtain one.
3. Have experience with flight simulators, either as an instructor or a user.
4. Possess in-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, weather, navigation, and aircraft systems.
5. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to a diverse range of students.
6. Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic training environment.
7. Hold a valid TRI certification for a specific aircraft type.
8. Have experience with simulator software, such as Prepar3D or X-Plane.
