JOB SUMMARY:
The Key Logistics Manager will provide guidance and support to the Customer on logistics activities related to aircraft parts and services, parts replacements, unserviceable returns, and warehouse management as per the contract specifics. They will also monitor KPIs and warranties, coordinate with Airbus Helicopters offices, provide quotations, manage logistics flows, resolve issues affecting fleet availability, respond to customer queries, and ensure continuous improvement in logistics activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
- Comply with Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations
- Coordinate with Airbus Helicopters to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide quotations in response to RFQs from customers
- Advise customer staff on supply aspects
- Manage logistic flows from customer PO to item delivery
- Investigate and expedite logistics issues affecting fleet availability
- Respond to customer queries in collaboration with technical experts
- Provide periodic status updates to Customer Logistics Manager
- Apply continuous improvement approach to logistics activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
SPECIFICATIONS:
GENERAL
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
- Self-motivated individual able to work autonomously or as part of a team
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
- Three or more years of experience in logistics activities and customer relations
- Operations logistics management systems
- Knowledge of logistics principles (incoterms, transportation management, customs clearance, warehouse management, WMS)
- Project management skills
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
- Two or more years of experience in international logistics
- Knowledge of logistics principles (incoterms, transportation management, customs clearance, warehouse management)
ESSENTIAL
- English Proficiency (Advanced Level)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management
DESIRABLE
- Experience with ERP Systems (SAP, CAMP/ENVISION, Gold ESP)
- Knowledge of Airbus Helicopters' supply chain processes
- Experience in PBH/Warranty/Purchasing operations management
- Experience in a military environment and aeronautical industry
- Proficiency in Arabic language
- Prior experience in the Middle East
