Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and manage trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, guarantees, and collections.
2. Review and verify trade finance documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, credit, and compliance teams.
4. Communicate with customers, suppliers, and other external parties to resolve issues and provide transaction status updates.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.
6. Identify and mitigate risks associated with trade finance transactions.
7. Develop and maintain knowledge of trade finance products, services, and regulatory requirements.
8. Provide training and support to junior staff members.
9. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trade finance operations.
3. Strong knowledge of trade finance products, services, and regulatory requirements.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
