About the job Logistics Advisor
JOB SUMMARY:
The Logistics Advisor will provide guidance and support to the Customer on logistics activities related to aircraft parts and services, parts replacements, unserviceable returns, and warehouse management as per the contract specifics. They will also monitor KPIs, PBH, and warranties, coordinate with Airbus Helicopters front office, provide advice on logistics planning, and ensure operational readiness of helicopters. The Logistics Advisor will train Customer personnel on Airbus World processes, Best Practices, and conduct logistics on-the-job training. They will also provide monthly status updates and KPI reports, apply continuous improvement in logistics activities, and handle other logistics-related duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
- Comply with Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations
- Coordinate with Airbus Helicopters front office for on-time deliveries
- Provide specialist input for logistics planning
- Monitor logistics performance and expedite issues affecting fleet availability
- Advise Customer staff on supply base aspects and operational readiness
- Communicate with Customer logistics team and respond to queries
- Train Customer on Airbus World processes and Best Practices
- Conduct logistics on-the-job training for Customer personnel
- Provide monthly status updates and KPI reports to AHA Management
- Apply continuous improvement approach to logistics activities
- Other duties as assigned
SPECIFICATIONS:
GENERAL
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
- Self-motivated individual able to work autonomously or as part of a team
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
- Five or more years of experience working in Airbus Helicopters logistics activities
- Experience with Airbus Helicopters warehouse in/out operations
- Knowledge of stock management systems and Airbus Helicopters SOP
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of Airbus helicopters' products
- Knowledge and application of Airbus Helicopters supply chain processes
ESSENTIAL
- English Proficiency (Advanced Level)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Suspect Unapproved Parts and Foreign Object Debris
- Bachelor's degree
DESIRABLE
- Experience with ERP Systems (SAP, CAMP/ENVISION)
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
- Written and oral Arabic proficiency
