Manager – Digital Lending & Product Development 

Location: Karachi, Pakistan (Onsite/remote)

Role Overview

Our Client is an established banking institution based in Karachi seeking an experienced and execution-focused Manager to lead digital lending and product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in investment and lending product management, embedded finance, and Shariah-compliant structures within the Pakistani banking landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for digital lending and investment products from origination through to settlement, reconciliation, and compliance.
• Act as the key liaison between business, technology, compliance, and Shariah Board for product approvals, system integrations, and platform enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into structured product documentation including BRDs, FSDs, and Product Manuals.
• Design and oversee digital onboarding workflows and operational processes for lending and embedded finance platforms.
• Conduct UATs and manage deployment of digital financing user journeys across banking and third-party applications.
• Drive data-driven insights to continuously improve product performance and user experience.
• Engage with regulators, Shariah advisors, and external partners to ensure full compliance and governance.
• Identify market gaps and opportunities; lead competitor and industry research to inform product strategy.
• Communicate product vision, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. 

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years in digital lending and product management within the banking sector in Pakistan.
• Strong knowledge of conventional and Islamic banking products including embedded finance and Sukuks.
• Experience with Shariah-compliant structures and working with Shariah Boards.
• Familiarity with SBP regulations, KYC, AML, and Agile delivery.
• CFA Charter or MBA in Finance preferred.
• Must be Karachi-based and available to work onsite.
