Job Overview:
They are seeking an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to join their finance team. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting the organization's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and ensuring liquidity.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
